The Davis County Citizens Police Academy (DCCPA) offers residents a comprehensive, hands-on understanding of how local law enforcement, criminal justice, and emergency medical services operate across our communities.

In-Depth Education

Academy Eligibility Standards

To maintain safety and operational security across facilities and ride-alongs, all prospective students must satisfy the following admission requirements prior to acceptance.

Age Requirement (18+) Applicants must be 18 years or older (17-year-olds are eligible if accompanied by a parent/guardian).
Residency or Employment Must reside, work, or attend school in Davis County, Utah.
Background Screening Must pass a criminal history background check (no felony convictions or disqualifying misdemeanor records).
$25 Registration Fee Payable upon formal acceptance into the program (includes official CPA T-Shirt & materials).
